But if fishing's not for you, you can still come out to Haulover Park and enjoy the Kitetober Kite Festival with Skyward Kites on Sunday, October 17, from noon to 5 PM. This is a really fun family-friendly event with food and music and kites of every possible description. Watch out for the kite-eating trees...there are even some kite-eating charter boats!
