Congratulations to the Texas Rangers and the 2010 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants. Even though our Florida Marlins were out of the picture, we still had a connection to the two teams in the World Series (and every other team in Major League Baseball, but that?s another story) through some of our very talented former players. Matt Treanor and Jorge Cantu played for the Texas Rangers and Cody Ross and Edgar Renteria turned out to be heroes for the Giants. Who would?ve guessed back in January, when Edgar Renteria was kind enough to pose for this photo, that he would be the 2010 World Series MVP?

We still remember that unbelievable moment in Game 7 of the 1997 World Series when your 11th-inning hit scored the run that transformed the Florida Marlins into World Series Champions...we were thrilled and exhausted and it was the best feeling ever.
